Title: Modeling Protein-Protein Interactions: Structure, Thermodynamics, and Kinetics

Abstract:
This talk will present our work on (1) building structures for protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid complexes, (2) analyzing electrostatic contributions to the binding stability of these complexes, and (3) predicting absolute binding rate constants. Examples include the binding of a protein toxin to the ribosome.
